Welcome to Hayfield Primary. Our School lies at the heart of the community, set in the thriving village of Hayfield and situated at the foot of Kinder Scout. We have fantastic grounds, which are well developed to enable all children to play and learn together with enjoyment, developing good social and communication skills along the way!
Our school is a buzzing and vibrant place in which to learn and work. The curriculum is broad, rich and exciting and we encourage parents and the community into school as often as possible to work with the children and enrich their experiences. We use outdoors as much as possible and have focused this year on making learning more engaging, exciting and relevant.
Ensuring that every child feels happy, safe and secure is of paramount importance to us, so we make sure that the building and grounds are secure, the people who work here are suitable to work with children-and enjoy being with them! - and we teach children how to look after themselves and keep themselves safe. Respect is the buzz word at Hayfield!
